HI I’m Lesia; I am a middle school educator and a busy mother of three with a passion for bridging gaps between learning at home and school. My philosophy on education is a holistic model that encompasses both teaching and learning in any environment. As a teacher, it is natural and easy for me to parent from an educator’s perspective because that’s my career and passion. I realized this is a unique and special gift that I wanted to share. Parent Teacher Mode empowers parents with educational strategies and easy to digest resources. I started Parent Teacher Mode because I am constantly in both arenas - I encourage parents to join me here!
Motivator to “Stay Sharp” over the summer.
Hi I’m Monica; my passion is teaching and motivating the middle school learner. I am a mother of three and understand the hardships of balancing home and school life. Over the past 16 years of teaching mathematics, I have been searching for the perfect way to help students sustain what they have learned throughout the school year. This was the sole reason for creating the “Stay Sharp” series. I feel so blessed to be a part of this process and being able to help students over the summer. I want kids to feel confident, motivated, and in charge of their learning, so when they return to school in the fall they have the tools to be successful.

Hi, I'm Lana, a parent and educator of 10 years. As an Intervention Specialist licensed K-12, I understand that early intervention is important! Staying on track over the summer and preventing that "summer slide" is beneficial for students of all ages. Currently in a K-2 setting, I am passionate about providing hands-on learning experiences to our younger aged students. We know these tiny minds need short bursts of exposure and practice in order to engage in and absorb content. Parent Teacher Mode is the perfect way to bridge those gaps and help your child maintain math skills previously taught.

Hi, I’m Kimberlee; I am an elementary school teacher with 14 years of classroom experience. My goal is to always set up my students for success! After the long summer break, students can have gaps in their learning, so summer practice is a great way to keep skills fresh and set up students for success in the following school year. I’m thrilled to be a part of Parent Teach Mode to help students build and retain their confidence and skills!
